As an amateur musician I was aware of the theremin although the name had escaped me over the years. Unfortunately the children's fantasy "The Remin Chronicles" has no association with the magical properties of the theremin. Remin is a dream world and the name comes from the concept of "rapid eye movement" (REM) sleep that occurs during the dream state.

Of course there is no telling what interesting and magical items may appear in future adventures in Remin. The theremin would certainly be an interesting and historical addition.
